For One Night Only...
Firstly, this is in no way related to my last post!
I have always been a strong believer in Karma, but when you are in the gutter, it is difficult to believe in anything. Everybody has ups and downs. I have had my fair share and I try my hardest everyday to keep my chin up and ‘get on with it’. I rarely talk about my problems, I rarely complain and I rarely point the finger, but would it hurt if I took this one opportunity to gloat on the comeuppance of fate?
My faith in ‘what goes around comes around’ is what has carried me through the past ten years. I have always kept an open mind about the reasons that certain things have happened. I am who I am because of the life I have lived ~ That is why I hold no regrets, that is why I smile everyday and that is why I hold no grudge.
…But for one night only, I remember!
…I remember everything!
For one night only, I look back in anger…
I look back in regret…
I look back in pity…
…And tomorrow morning, with the knowledge that wrongs are now right,
I WILL NEVER LOOK BACK AGAIN!
